Everything was great at the Royal Nyaung Shwe Hotel. Book early as the price will go up fast. Staffs were very pleasant. The room was great espeically stayed at another place the night before that was nowhere like this place for the same price. Breakfaat was good. Wish they woud have told me i can order eggs, until i saw others were being served. Location is within 10 min walking distance to downtown, but there are many good restaurants around the corner. A few things that definitely need improvement is the wifi keeps going in and out and was very frustrating. Could not get gmails unless on the phone with sim card. The pillows have a strong odor from the people who slept on them before. Make sure to bring your booking #. They did not have my reservation in their system when I showed up.

Great stay”
We loved our stay at Royal Nyuang Shwe. Our room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Even with an extra bed for our two young children we had plenty of room to keep our luggage and spread out. The staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. The breakfast was fine for what we needed - our kids loved getting the fried rice and an egg. We booked a lake boat trip through the hotel and it was a great day - the price was comparable to the offers we had from touts in the street (possibly $2-3 more for the convenience of booking at the hotel). Handy location to walk to many of the popular restaurants in town, nice to walk the back streets and have glimpses of everyday life such as kids in school. We had a great deal upon booking this hotel so it was very good value for money. We would definitely stay again.

We arrived early in the morning by bus from Yangon and were able to check-in at 7 am, which we highly appreciate. Breakfast is good and the staff very friendly. Wifi wasn't strong enough to reach our room on the fourth floor and there were some energy blackouts. Maybe investing in some new Wifi routers would be a good idea. Otherwise perfect and would stay here again.

It's very near bus station in Nuang Shwe. The facilities are new and clean. It's a good choice to stay in Nuang Shew. There's a local food nearby the hotel. You can try Shan and Intha food in it, too.

This is a fairly new hotel, so everything is sparkling clean and functional. The staff are lovely, and the breakfast is adequate. A gym would have been handy, but they don't seem common in Myanmar.

We like this hotel very much. It's very new and everything is nice and very clean. Buffet breakfast is good. About 10 mins walk from the pier. Many restaurants and massage places near the hotel. The only problem is WiFi is weak if your room is located on higher floors. Our room was in 301 and we had to stand at our bedroom door to get decent WiFi signal. Great value & we'll stay here again if we return to Inle Lake.

Good clean hotel in centre of Nyaungshwe”
Clean hotel and rooms. Fresh towels and bottled water each day Bathroom is massive with good water pressure in the shower - lots of hot water. Breakfast is buffet style, although it doesn't change much each day. Lots of food to start the a healthy days cycling. Wifi connection is solid, perfect for web-surfing but not uploading The 6/f roof is a nice place to catch sunrise/sunset if you can't make the lake.

Great value for money in good location”
This hotel was such a steal - we paid a really good price which was only a few £ more than another hotel we'd stayed in previously and the quality was far superior! The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean with large bathrooms, comfortable beds and complimentary toiletries and water. The breakfast was fine - more Asian dishes than continental which isn't for everyone's taste but was good nonetheless! Would definitely stay here again.

Pros - clean enough - spacious shower room - You can do early check in from 7:30 if rooms are available - staff is helpful Cons - There's no shower room to use after check out, inconvenient for traveller who take a midnight bus to next destination, even if we are willing to pay, they can not let us use - even there's available room, they can not let customer to do the early check in until 7:30 - but one customer negotiated, then hotel allows them to do early check in before 7:30 with additional $10. if so, they could've shared this info to other customers including us

Allowed us to check in earlier. The room is big and feels luxurious. Breakfast is also good and there are a few decent restaurants around it. Hotel is also able to organise tours at a competitive price. Would stay in this hotel again.

Receiptionist were there when i arrived at 5am. He is very helpful to get me the boat for inle lake tour on the spot. The rooms is spacious and clean. The bed also comfortable. Provide breakfast. About 500mtr from JJ express bus station. Bicycle rental shop just infront the hotel. Can rent there.
