Nice place to stay”
I enjoyed staying at Ruby Garden Hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The staffs were helpful. The hotel had lovely and greenery garden and also a nice cafe which providing good food and coffee. The hotel locates on the main road so it was so convenient to take taxi, to take bus and also to walk to other destinatons. I will stay here next time I visit Yangon.

Away from the downtown hustle and bustle. Close to airport. Choose this place if you want a quiet spot to rest between your travels in Myanmar.We rented this hotel for the duration of our stay in Myanmar, so it was nice to have a "home" to get back to between our many trips around the country. Don't expect any fancy breakfast. They need to work on the water pressure a bit,although the hot water comes pretty fast. I'll be talking to them about installing shower curtains to prevent water from splashing out onto the bathroom floor while showering in the bath tub. This is the only hotel amongst all the ones I have put up in, in Myanmar, where you don't have to deal with a wet bathroom floor after you've taken a shower. Believe me, it's a design problem that really needs to be fixed! The shower/bath area needs to be isolated in some way from the toilet bowl area!!! Enough said!!!

poor facilities and poor service staff standards”
I have been staying with this hotel for a year, each time for 4-5 days duration (sometimes longer). Initially, their staff service was satisfactory (front desk staff was able to speak English), internet was acceptable and satellite TV was working (though channels were limited to 5 only). However, my last stay in Nov was really bad... there weren't any front desk staff after 8pm and most service staff are unable to speak/understand English well. The internet and satellite TV was also not working. Not only that, the management didn't even make an effort to notify their guests too! We have to discover it ourselves.... Very frustrating. Unless their service standard improves, I will not recommend staying at Ruby Garden Hotel. One last point, this is not a 4 star hotel...

Good but can be better....”
The rooms are clean and spacious. Amenities might be lacking but its not too must of a concern. Room service is available for dinner at affordable prices. However, the breakfast service needs to be improved. Currently, breakfast is only served in the garden area. No hotel staff are not stationed there and must be ordered at the front desk. No menu is available and communications other than Burmese are usually misunderstood. Crows/ravens crowd that area so clearing of used plates must be collected quickly (which is hard to do since no one is there...). There are no outdoor cooling fans for cooling and wifi internet connectivity is poor. If the hotel is able to improve the above, it will make our stay more pleasant... :)

Exceptional”
Friendly staff. Nice air-conditioned cafe within the compound. Just 5mins walk to the beautiful Inya lake. Breakfast was in the garden - just beautiful (you got to eat early before traffic builts up on the main road to enjoy peace and quiet). Perhaps there could be signs or information to inform guests that you have to ask for breakfast to be served. Lovely bungalow.

Deal includes b/fast but limited to cup of coffee,2 slices of toast,butter & jam. Fried egg avail on request. No other choices. There is a Cafe- Beyond Cafe- in the same compound opp the hotel but it only opens at 10am. Stupid economic sense. Should be open at 7-8am al least to cater for hotel guests if b/ fast is limited at the hotel. I don't mind paying. Good menu. Good facilities. I believe the hotel & Cafe are separate entities( owners are relatives) . However, I feel the owners are missing out on a lot of business from patrons of the hotel opening at 10am.No shaver power point in bathroom. Staff very pleasant but frustrated with management.

Please Improve Your Hotel, the Building deserve much better services. ”
The hotel itself is great. But the cleanliness need a bit more attention to detail, so many dust are in the light table & Bathroom need to improve such as Shower needs to run better, and mirror needs to hang a bit higher. And the housekeeping needs to communicate with guest for cleaning the room, change the bed sheets of the guest are staying more than two days. And the first floor need re-polishing. The entrance sliding doors need to open wider, I had to be very careful and walking in side way sometime. And the lights need to be fixed. Then this hotel can be rated with more stars and the hotel itself will be beautiful. But I enjoyed staying there and the night shift front desk lady is very sweet and friendly and also helpful for the guests. I forgot to ask her name. She is the first person I talked when I checked in at the front desk. She is the positive for the hotel during my stays. P.S please make your hotel sign more appearing ,like facing the traffic. Not hiding in the plants

Room is clean but there are lots of mosquitoes. As i was given a room behind the counter, i can hear lot of movement during the night. Generally, it was acceptable for me since i am only staying in Yangon for two nights. Breakfast is served in the room which is good however the noodles are quite oily.

Very clean and quiet, right across from the lake park. On bus route, restaurants nearby. There is a nice restaurant attached to the hotel. Laundry was done very quickly. Service minded staff.

The location is good. Not too far from the airport and about a couple of hundred walking metres away from the nearest shopping centre. It is also just opposite the famous lake if you fancy a stroll. Only not so great stuff is there is no business centre corner - to print documents should you need to. It was a nice touch that the staff on duty helped me with my printing needs. Overall, the hotel has a little rustic feeling compared with staying in commercial brand hotels that are nearby. It's good value for money but only if it does not cost too much more than the promotion rate I gotten on Agoda.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and g Helpful. Room #206 was clean and comfortable. Wifi was very weak, so often had to walk down to the lobby for a connection. They were super nice at the front desk, and offered laundry service.

A good place to rest after a workday. If you're a runner, Inle Lake is just opposite the hotel which offers a nice view while running. Simple breakfast in the morning.. No frills.

Staff very keen to assist although nothing much on offer as far as tours or sightseeing tips etc. Hotel in midtown so use buses or taxis to get around unless you hire a car or driver. Has cafe attached to hotel. Good three star accomodation .

No dining hall & the food content is tiny. Cafe at entrance said to be available to guest but open at 10:00! Breakfast can be room served but no chair or table in room! Eat like fast food in standing mode.

Why not have Beyound Blue Cafe situated in the same compound opening at 6-9am for breakfast. Status quo does not make economic sense. The Cafe does not open till 10am. A bit stupid....

A frequent traveler to Myanmar over many years, I have had my fair share of bad breakfasts. Two pieces of white bread, one egg, some butter and a tiny click of jam. Come on! There is much better food available on the street outside. Don't insult your guests and serve such a disappointment. On the positive side, it's a great location and the room was clean. Bathrooms need a serious make over! Not a bad alternative if you know what you are getting but overall many better alternatives in the same area.
