A Peaceful Oasis Conviently Located Between Temples and Town”

From the moment the smiling driver greeted me at the airport for my ride in the free tuk tuk to Sabara Angkor Resort and Spa, to the day I left a week later, my stay was wonderful. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and greeted me by name. The saltwater pool and lounge chairs are so relaxing that I spent more time enjoying them than I expected. The bonus was I made new friends from around the world. They have a great poolside happy hour and converted the pool area twice a week for a dinner and free Aspara dance. They assisted in lining up my 2-day tour of the temples making it easy and seamless. The food in the restaurant was delicious as well as the free breakfast which was plentiful. I had two great and relaxing massages at the spa, one of which was a gift from the resort. The bed was comfortable with soft linens and my room had a great shower. If I ever return to Siem Reap I will definitely stay there again. You won't be disappointed.

Highly Recommended Hotel,worth the money ”

It is a amazing resort with excellent service staff and delicious food. The room is clean and the bed is extremely comfortable. And the beautiful pool is the drawing point if you want to take a day or two out relaxing. Even though the location is a little far from the city, but it's not a problem as they offer free tuk tuk service and hotel provides cell phone for you to call the front desk for the tuk tuk to pick you up once you are ready to return. I will definitely come back to if I visit Siem Reap again. Sabara Angkor Resort & Spa is the best!

The room is large and clean, and the bed is cozy. The swimming pool is just out of the room, and it’s beautiful. It’s not a big hotel, but it’s a good place to relax. The hotel is a little far away from the down town, but it’s not a problem because the hotel provides free tuk tuk (For going out is free, only have to pay 2 dollars when coming back). There are a variety of choices in breakfast, including continental breakfast, Southeast Asian style salad and some orders like fried rice, omelet, yellow noodles. All are delicious. My family and I really enjoy the time we stay in Sabara Angkor Resort & Spa. The employees are ALL very polite and friendly. Though my English is not fluent, they always be patient and smile to me. They even prepared a birthday surprise for my sister. On the last day, we had outside tour, and our return flight was in the evening. We appreciate that they arranged a room for us to take a shower even though we had checked out. Everything is perfect and wonderful!

Exceptional”

We loved our stay at Sabara Angkor Resort & Spa, the Deluxe King room is clean, big and spacious. We enjoyed a traditional Khmer massage at the hotel's spa. Other than free breakfast everyday, what we felt was the best offering is that there is a 2-way tuktuk shuttle service to anywhere for just USD$2, they'll provide you with a phone to call the front desk to arrange for a pick-up when you are done. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Saroth for his excellent service throughout our stay. We were treated with absolute grace and brilliant service by him. In general, the staff here are very helpful and friendly. A simply wonderful hotel, I would definitely recommend this!

Excellent, intimate hotel with superb staff and service.”

Firstly, the staff at Sabara are amazing, so courteous, friendly and they couldn't do enough for you. This is one thing you will find with Cambodian people and Sabara is a perfect example of this. The hotel itself is very nicely presented with a great pool which gets the sun all day if you want to take a day or two out relaxing. The food is amazing! and about as good as you can get as a tourist, I've stayed in other much larger 5 star hotels in Siem Reap and the food at them doesn't compare to the quality at Sabara. The hotel is very new and the last few rooms were getting finished off but to be honest that made my stay more enjoyable as most of the time I had the pool to myself which I enjoyed very much. The beds are extremely comfortable and the best I've slept on in S.E Asia. It's a little outside of the main Pub Street and Old Market area (10-15min) but the hotel put on a free return tuk-tuk service whenever you want to go to the centre. Thank you Sabara - I will be back!

Cozy stay in Siem Reap”

I thing I like most about throughout the stay in Sabara Resort Hotel and Spa is the friendliness of the staffs here. Whenever they see us, they always greet us with their broad smile. Their service is good too. Not to forget is the Tuktuk convenience provided by them for only USD2 for every trip to the city. And you will be surprised that the back trip is for free! The daily breakfast is delicious and good. The prices on the restaurant menu is reasonable and delicious too. And also, Netflix watching is free of charge. However, it would be better if the TV screen size is bigger :) Unfortunately, the air conditioner is a bit too noisy. Overall we enjoyed very much the stay at the resort. We will surely recommend a stay here for people would travel to Siem Reap.

Exceeded expectations”

I can't say enough nice things about Sabara Angkor. From the warm and welcoming staff, to the delicious breakfast, to the beautiful pool, it's definitely a place I'll come back to if I ever visit Siem Reap again. It may be 15 minutes away from the main part of the city, but it's not a problem as they offer free tuk tuk service and they'll give you a phone that you can use to ask them to pick you back up! (Just be sure to hand the phone to a local to describe where you are if you're not near a big landmark). Notify them in advance and they'll even pick you up from the airport. If all that wasn't enough, the rooms have smart TV's where you can watch Youtube and Netflix!

We he great time in this resort. The staff is very polite and professional. The hotel provides free shuttle service to the town, it was very helpful. The restaurant served delicious food. We had to choose hotel to the second time in siem reap and we chose sabara angkor resort.

Amazing Stay - Loved it!”

Sabara AngkorResort & Spa made our trip to Siem Reap amazingly memorable. Although it was about 10mins ride (tuk tuk) from the main market area, the complimentary shuttle service it provided to town made it extremely convenient. The breakfast provided was freshly made and tasted delicious. Rooms were clean and the service from the entire staff was impeccable. I would like to give special Thanks to Mr. Sothea at the Front Desk again for taking care of us so well during our stay. He was so helpful in his advice and recommendations. I would give this resort a 5-Star rating overall!

5 star hotel with very competitive price”

I booked sabara in a very competitive price including three beds in a triple suite room , free breakfast and free airport transfers Airport transfer is very efficieint and the staff held the sign to pick us up from airport. With just 10min ride , we arrived the hotel and they welcome us with a cocktail serving from a dressed up server ( very impressive ) one hotel staff came and explain every bit very patiently to us. They also helped us to book the tour to Angor wat with car transfers. The price is very reasonable and not like some hotel chain they topped up the price. Room is Very clean and new ! It’s also spacious like 700sq ft. All amenities are included and bathroom is big too. The pool is also nice and clean. The hotel doesn’t have big crowd so we can enjoy the sunbathing in the morning quietly The breakfast is also another highlighted that they have quite a lot options ( egg and noodles stations, diff kind of bread, cheese and ham, fried rice and congee and cereal) quite comprehensive !! We also had the spa in the resort and they have 30min extension for hotel guest. Just one to improve is the massage lady can be more skilful. Sometimes they press too soft Besides we joined the cooking class organised by the hotel at US25 includes the lunch itself , two executive chef guidance, the trip to the market to buy ingredients (we skipped coz we r too lazy), 4 staff serving us , one taking snapshots from different angles , one holding the dishes/ bowl for you in case it’s too heavy and one providing ice water and remind you to drink it btw cooking each dish. last but not least, big encouragement after we finished the cooking ! So we enjoyed it a lot and it’s a good package . We had a fantastic time at the Sabara Angkor, staff are great, loved the pool & breakfast, awesome!”

The attentiveness of the staff and their helpful nature, really made it a great stay for us at the Sahara Angkor. From the moment you check-in and the welcome drink, you are made to feel comfortable. They helped us arrange our visits and transportation to Angkor Wat and during the evening trips to Night Market and Pub Street, the hotel provided the tuk-tuk’s and mobile phone to call back for a return pick up. The buffet breakfast is great and would recommend the excellent omelet which I had everyday during our stay! We also had lunch at the restaurant, which was lovely and the Beef Lok Lak was very good. When you need a cool down, the pool is great and clean, which we made good use of. Finally the complimentary pick up and return to the hotel from the airport we much appreciated. It was a five star experience and thanks must go to Mr. Chamnan and the staff for making it such a wonderful stay. We loved Cambodia and Sabara Angkor and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Sabara Angkor Resort and Spa, it’s everything! ”

From complimentary TukTuk pick up from the bus station; to warm welcome of the staffs; to room space and fresh fruits; the pool with side bar; the tours they suggest and activities e.i the cooking class which part of the pay goes to a school in the community; the Tuktuk service to the town and a phone they provide so you’d be in touch with your driver; the amazing spa place they have; finally, its people — Chamnan the Hotel Manager who swiftly answered email queries, Seda the Resident Assistant who is knowledgeable in orienting us and Chad the Tuktuk driver who took care of us while going around town and Angkor Wat. They were so accommodating, quick to get your requests, delivers just in time and indeed doing an excellent job. It was an easy trip to their property no hassles. I miss the smiles of all the staffs. We can’t wait to go back and bring my entire family or recommend this to friends. A quiet, truly relaxing, a lil paradise in Siem Reap 😊

Everything Just a bit Better Than We'd Hoped For”

Just down the road from the ultra deluxe Anantara with it's ultra deluxe price tag, Sabara offers 5 star caliber staff creating for a solid 4 star experience for guests, all for a 3 star price tag. The staff are really interested in guest well-being! We had lots of smiles from Sothea and Seda while they arranged our transportation to the bus station, but all the staff was friendly and attentive. While we were there we found that they could be depended on to offer up their best every day. There's a delicious breakfast buffet and made to order eggs plus all sorts of little perks for enhancing your enjoyment of the spa and poolside bar. Tuk-Tuks are always waiting for the short ride to town and so being away from the center of things is a plus as it's a quiet location. We loved this hotel and we've stayed at some 5 star places that didn't do it nearly as well as The Sabara.

Very very impressed by the Sabara Angkor, lovely big rooms, well equipped and spotlessly clean. All staff friendly, efficient and helpful. Good special (2-4-1) offers. A really lovely welcoming atmosphere which offered the best of Cambodian hospitality. Highly recommended!

The place is well maintained and staffs are super attentive.. This is our 2nd time in Siem Reap and we will definitely recommend anyone who is looking to split their time between exploring the city, and spending time in the hotel. This property is the most value for money. I couldn't say enough good things about it. Also, if you are looking for a great driver to bring you around the city and the temples, ask for Kim Song. When he saw my mother need more assistance at the temple, he went beyond and followed us around the temple to help my mum. As fellow traveler, at times we are worried when the room rates are too low for real. But this property proved me wrong and just book with confidence. You will be totally surprised.

AMAZING Hotel that gives back to the Community”

My boyfriend and stayed 4 nights at Sabara Angkor, which I had initially booked due to the charity work they do with a local school! The room was large and the beds comfy, their infinity pool clean and refreshing (hello lunch by the pool!) in the midday sun, their young staff aimed to please us with all our requests, and the breakfast had a great selection of Khmer and Western food. We also had so much fun taking a cooking class which includes a market visit- I wish I also had had time to see the Apsara show (free every on site!). Highly recommended, keep up the amazing job!

Sabara was a new resort at the time of my visit, and they were delightful. The staff members make an effort to address you by name each time they see you, making it a very comfortable experience. They constantly give out spa vouchers and they are amazing! I didn't even bother trying out spas outside the hotel because the in-house one was so great. But doe to the small space, you need to make an advance booking for spa time as they get booked up really fast. But you won't regret it. The cafe had nice food too. worth the visit, will definitely come back for this.
