Setiabudi hotels & places to stay

We took the junior suite with a loft bed. The kids enjoyed the loft bed setting. Its a big room with a flat screen tv, full fridge, water dispenser, microwave. Very comfortable stay. very near to Rumah Mode and Fashion World. walking distance to Ayam Goreng Suharti, Setiabudi Mall. 20 mins to Paris Van Java by car. 30 mins to Tangkuban Perahu in Lembang. What more can I ask for. We will book Villa Darma again when we are back in Bandung.

The stay was nice. My children really liked the room. There were many electrical outlets with two different plugs, so it was easy to charge gadgets. There was a microwave in the room, which comes in handy to warm up food. WiFi was unfortunately not working in the room (signal off-on, and then could not connect. Eventually, had to go to lobby to get Wifi connection). Setiabudi where the hotel was located is actually close to Lembang, but unfortunately during holiday season it can be difficult to go down into central Bandung or up to Lembang due to congested traffic. I suppose outside of holiday season, the location would not matter much. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The children's swimming pool actually has heater, so the water is comfortably warm for children to "swim".

The homestay is located in Setiabudi area, of which a place of many factory outlets for instance Rumah Mode, Fashion World and many more by walking distance (the friendly staff showed us shortcut). We love our 2 days stay in Retanata as the place is very nice, quite and peaceful, the room is big and clean and the staffs are very helpful. As for breakfast, we were provided with rice, bread, coffee and tea, it was simple but nice and filling. Overall it is worth for the money. We will come back and definitely promote this homestay to our friends.

We stay for 3days 2 nights. Our room is very comfortable.We dont need a big room coz only will sleep coz day we will go shopping and sightseeing. But i really love the bathroom, very clean and i love to take bath. Even it is just a cozy hotel but the cleanliness very good. The staff very kind as he give me to use his mobile phone to call taxi. After use second time i gave him tip. we dont try their food becuase afraid it is non halal. The hotel is situated a bit far from town and shopping area. but if you have taxi or car rental it is no problem coz they know all the places.if want to try take a ride of their local transport also can, in fromt of hotel a lot of local transport passing by. Only have to know the road you wish to go, and ask the driver first. the fare is very cheap. Overall i give 8 from 10 mark.

Sorry for my late review. I was staying here for 2 nights at end of January 2019 for a short business-leisure trip to Bandung. Booked 2 standard rooms for my family at that time. I was arrive on Thursday and the hotel was very quiet at the time. It wasn't holiday season and during weekday time, so its pretty much normal for hotel in touristy area like Bandung for having lower occupancy at the time like that. And actually I like it when the hotel is not fully crowded by guest, you can enjoy the hotel more privately although its probably not good for the hotel business.. hahaha.. And here is the summary of my stay here. Pros: - This hotel already took my attention for a while, couple of times passing by, the building facade always attract me. You can also see from the picture in internet and instagram that Travello Hotel has a nice design inside, and yes it has great lobby with very high ceiling, a lot of sofa and lounger to relax or wait for check-in/out process. Its quite instagramable lobby to take a couple of shot here (check some on instagram @rheta.the.traveler.baby). - I was arrive early at that time so to spend time waiting for the room to be ready, we took a quick lunch beside their pool in the ground floor (same floor as lobby) and the F&B prices is very reasonable and not expensive for a 4-star hotel. Food taste and portion also pretty good. - Location wise actually depend on your purpose of stay. If you're planning to spend moat of your time on north Bandung area or Lembang, it is a great choice of place to stay. Very close to Terminal Ledeng (less than a km) its situated right on the entrance to Lembang area. Also near to UPI and setiabudhi area where FO and restaurant located. But if your activity mostly in the Bandung city center or Dago area, staying in this hotel especially on holiday season could be tricky. Most of the time the road in front of the hotel (Jl.Setiabudhi) that going up to Lembang is jammed with traffic although the other direction

If you are looking a place to stay with your big family, this hotel is what you are looking for. The hotel concept looks like a housing complex. I booked for 2 bedroom cottage. The cottage was 3 stories building. At the basement, you could park you car there and it also has a room for your driver or maid. Second floor there was 1 bedroom, kitchen (with essentials kitchen utensils such as plate, spoon, fork, glass, etc), bathroom, dining room and living room. The 3rd floor there was 1 bedroom, bathroom and room for work. You got all of those with relatively fair price. It has OK swimming pool for kids, playground for kids, large yard for children playing around. It located at Setiabudi, easy to access, near several nice restaurant in setiabudi and sersan bajuri. I definitely will go back to stay there

We had a good stay in this hotel. The hotel located in a main street so its easy to find. The street was traffic jam so we walked around to PVJ mall and surround. The staff are friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is old but nice, when you walked to the 2nd floor you can feel the modern design, yet it fits together with their olds style. Room was very clean, interior was simple and homy. Bathroom was great. I must say with the room, i feel like staying in a 4 star hotel.

OK value but nothing amazing. Bathroom is very small. Wall paint could use a bit of tidying up. We could hear the sounds of other guests walking by quite clearly. Not very atmospheric, a bit of a basic feel to it. No smoking area. Maybe there's room service and a restaurant, but I didn't notice it, nor find a menu (or any other info) in the room. May visit again, may look for something more interesting next time...

Well, I often come to Bandung for Bussiness Purpose. I can say this is one of the best places if you are a backpacker or a traveler who looking for a cheap room with a good price. The room is quite clean and also there is a hot water on here which is good because it's very cold on here. For any of you who are looking for an air conditioner you wouldn't find it on here and I think you wouldn't need it because this place very cold. Please also be patient with the staff because there are an old woman and her daughter who run this place and both of them not good enough with technology.

For the price, we honestly didn't expect much from this hotel. Even from the front, it looked like the rooms are going to be cramped. But noo, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was! It can fit a decent sized closet and bathroom, a desk for working/vanity, and a good sized TV (I think it was a 42 inch TV). They even provided a big umbrella in the room, which is extra useful with the rainy Bandung. And now the location. It is located in the colder part of Bandung, Setiabudi, right next to one of the best factory outlets Rumah Mode. Tons of eateries in the area, although, it is kind of hard if you only need to find a mini market by walking (need a car or motorcycle). Also, the hotel needs to do better on their breakfast buffet. They need to provide more Western varieties (just the basics such as baked beans, sausages, potatoes) and the salad varieties as well. But overall, I am really satisfied with this hotel, especially the value for the price. Will definitely stay here again, as well as suggesting this to my families and friends.

1. From beginning i couldn't find the hotel (got lost 2 times) cause there wasn't sign in front of the gate of UPI that Isola resort was located inside the university. 2. The room was small and very different from Agoda.com 3. Cause of early checkout (5am) i wasn't tried for breakfast, i said to the front desk if it was possible to had breakfast early but they said no. (I reserved for 2 room)

We were pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed every bit of our stay at Breeze Bandung. The staff were excellent, they were the nicest and the sweetest and very thoughtful. The hotel itself was awesome, albeit abit far from Bandung City, but so worth the 15minute cab ride from town. The hotel is very nicely put together, the room was clevery designed, bathroom could be a tad bit bigger, but the way the hotel was tastefully curated made up for the small bathroom. We felt like we were staying in a european apartment, especially with the wonderful cool weather we had. The hotel is sprawled with a selection of artworks and sculptures and art installations, that were put together with a lot of thought. It was quiet, no kids! That was the best bit. The design of the room too, beds were super comfortable, we kept wanting to sleep in. It allowed loads of daylight in. It wasn't cluttered, despite having a mini living room space as well. There were enough power points ( hotels never give enough), blinds to allow daylight in without compromising on privacy, and super thick black out curtains that blocked out noise as well. Sheets were clean, and not some cheapo polyester. It's a very very well maintained hotel. Breakfast was superb too. The staff even packed us food for our day trip, and more food when we were headed to the airport for home as well. Small gestures go a long way. Even the hotel owner came to greet us, invited us to view his private art collection at his home. He's such a lovely old man. And it's their indonesian hospitality that would so make us go back there again. You'd never want to leave Bandung after staying here.

We had 2 rooms, 5 ppl, 3 nights family stay around independence day. Being exhausted from 30+ hours of flight from USA & in addition 7+ hours of traffic from Jakarta to Bandung, we were able to windup tranquilly in this 3 stars hotel with 5 stars treatment مَاشَآءَاللّهُ We had called ahead to inform for late check-in because of traffic and as soon as we arrived, immediately greeted with warmth & they knew who we were. The receptionist guy (sorry I forgot your name), was accommodating, extremely friendly & polite with abundant of smile مَاشَآءَاللّهُ Everything was exactly as described & pictured. Hotel & rooms were flawless! Extremely clean, the beddings, decors, bathroom with all marble & rain-shower-head, all combined feel luxurious! Exceeded our expectations for a 3-stars hotel. The room also feature adzan sound & prayer utilities & the Quran مَاشَآءَاللّهُ Hotel facilities are sufficient! From parking, to musholla & rooftop beautiful view of the city & mountain مَاشَآءَاللّهُ picture perfect! The location was convenient, close to everything! Mosques, restaurants (street vendors too), short drive to Lembang & Dago (when there’s no traffic) Breakfast was awesome. They served variety of Indonesian breakfast like Bubur Ayam (chicken porridge with condiments), fried rice, fried noodle, some other chicken/beef dish, some other varieties of food & dessert which I didn’t recall them all. The dining room was cozy & felt luxurious with all the decor & furniture. The servers were very attentive. We had some guests visiting us & we took over the lobby sitting area & ordered some food & drinks from the restaurant, and the staff were accommodating, thank you! We also like to give applaud to the housekeeping team who cleaned our rooms & brought us water in the middle of the night, the maintenance guy who came to the room & fixed the faucet right away (because it was too tight, it wouldn’t turn), bellboy & parking/security guy, they were all very helpful & nice!

This hotel is located in one of the residence in Setiabudi area. The location is very good and quiet, also my room view is the mountain and we can see the sunrise from our balcony. They also have warm water swimming pool so no need to be afraid with the cold weather at Setiabudi. The room is also big and clean with balcony. Don't forget to ask to the receptionist for the door to access the balcony. The breakfast is standard, but comparing with the price, this hotel is great. Will come back again next time.
