Perfect location”
Convenient transportation, round trip ticket for Nex costs around 4,000 yen. For the return trip, you can book at the JR office located at the station. It's very convenient to take the Yamanote line to Shibuya, Akihabara, Shinjuku, and even to Disneyland. If you want to go out of town, there is also the Shinkansen. It's easy to cross the street. We stayed in the main building and could walk through to the Annex. There is a 7-11 on the second floor and plenty of boxed meals. The room design is old, but it's still good to use. The small refrigerator has free ice upon request. You can see Mt. Fuji every day from the view.
The best choice for Shinagawa Station.”
Geographical location: When you come out of Shinagawa Station (Takanawa West Exit), there are signs that are very convenient and easy to travel to anywhere by rail. It is only 20 minutes away from Haneda Airport; Service: You can store luggage, and the service staff speaks English well, so there are no communication barriers; Room: I was very lucky to get a corner room where I could easily open two suitcases without obstructing the walkway. The window was large and had a perfect city view. From a certain angle, I could even see Tokyo Tower. The soundproofing effect was also good, and I didn't feel noisy even though it was next to the station.
Perfect location for seeing the city”
Whenever I visit Japan, finding convenient hotels on the rail line is important so I’m not rolling my luggage endlessly and transferring a lot. The Shinagawa Prince is in the perfect location. This is the second time I stayed here. Besides the beauty of the hotel and courteous staff, here’s what I appreciated: 1. After an extremely long flight it’s a straight train ride from Haneda. You come out of customs, take the escalator up a floor to grab your wireless wi-fi and on the same floor and area, you buy a 330 yen ticket on the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa. Upon arrival, walk down the stairs , cross the street and literally you are there. 2. Shinagawa is a huge station connecting everywhere, more importantly, the JR Yamonote line (circle) to easily visit shibuya, shinjuku, Ueno, and Tokyo (to get to your connection to Disney/ I transferred to a hotel closer to Disney with free shuttle service but this also made it convenient to do so).. Can also go straight Narita from Shinagawa. Elevators and escalators. 3. 7-11 right next to hotel to buy snacks and water. 4. Large, clean rooms with amazing water pressure. Dated but clean with beautiful views of the city. 5. Luggage storage service. They have a counter, room, and staff dedicated to it. The only thing that I would want improved is the number of outlets available to charge devices. Traveling with kids (teens) the amount of cell phones, iPads, battery banks, watches, and WiFi devices needing charging was more than the room could handle. Other hotels have special usb boxes on night stands. Other than that I will choose this hotel again for its amazing location. I booked a superior twin corner room and was a little unsure of the sofa bed based on the picture. It ended up being a very comfortable twin bed so pretty much a triple bed room.
Location close by the train station”
My first time staying at this hotel. Overall it was great. I booked it because of the location just crossing a street from the Shinagawa Station, it would be perfect if there was an underground exit for all weather. I can hear voices from outside and from hallway. When we returned to hotel room on the second night, we found that not providing two bottles of drinking water and two pairs of slippers after the room was cleaned, because it was late night, we did not ask housekeeping at the time. I will book this hotel again if good deal available, because I went to Shinjuku and Shibiya few times during this trip, I will save part of the transportation if stay in Shinjuku area.
Best location ”
Location - less than 3 min walk to shinagawa station which pretty much takes you everywhere. JR line and bullet train. Easy 10min stroll to bars and restaurants, 7/11 & McDonald’s. Room- very clean and up to date. Shared the full with my sister and felt larger than more “full” size beds. Check in - check it took very long. They have a quick option for self check in but if you booked with 3rd party, you’ll have to speak with front desk agent. Overall great station. I’ll be recommending to all my friends and family. Central location out of the maddens of Tokyo. Easy access to and from HND.
