Perfect budget place for a single traveler”
Shwe Htee is a great budget hotel. The single rooms are tiny, but equipped with a bathroom, AC and television. They are kept clean by the staff, who are kind and serviceable, although most don't speak too much English. The hotel is modern, with keyword security and located conveniently next to 19th street in chinatown, with great food and drink options just minutes away and with no noise. Absolutely recommended.

Great stay”
Great stay with lower price hotel, just behind the 19th street, Grab taxi easily to get everywhere in Yangon downtown, even can catch grab drive to airport at 4 am morning, have 32 inch LED TV, bathroom are attached with room. Air conditioning was really strong enough. Not recommend to stay single room if you have height more than likely 176cm, might book double room.

Nice, well-maintained rooms in the middle of Chinatown”
My rooms at Shwe Htee was well-kept up, with up-to-date conveniences and a toilet/shower included. It was small, but adequate for my needs. The hotel is in the middle of Yangon Chinatown, but it is easy to find, which is something of a rarity there. The main drawback was the "breakfast" which was just a packaged donut and Instant coffee.

Dear Mr.Brain, Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback!
Value for money for what it has to offer”
Was half expecting to be terrible from some of earlier reviews (e.g. mosquitoes, smell from toilet, noise from next room). But to my pleasant surprise, I didn't encountered those issues other travelers had with this hotel. Yes, the room is small but the price is apt for small room with a bed and a small table for laptop/work and a built-in shower. The staff was helpful, free breakfast consist of fruits (e.g. banana), sandwich break (a toaster is available for those that like their bread toasted), margarine and marmalade jam, instant coffee & mineral water. If these are inadequate, there's always plenty of cheap eats in the vicinity. House keeping are between 7am to 9am, but their staff won't disturb occupants to do housekeeping if the guest is in their room. One has to invite their staff in for house keeping. I didn't find the room stuffy as I just kept the toilet lights on as this activates the air extractor in the toilet.

Hidden gem in Yangon's Chinatown! ”
I stayed in the single room, located at the 3rd floor, just a couple of stairs. It was a very small room, no window, but surprisingly, it's much more than I expected. It was super clean, fully equipped with comfy bed, AC, private bathroom (shower, sink, toilet, they even provide a pair of slippers!), TV, desk, chair, although the wifi works up & down (better at the lobby). Great & helpful staffs (standard English), fast check in & check out, Yangon city maps provided, it's strategically located at the 18th street, just a short walk to the famous 19th street food galore. All of this just for USD 11/night including a light breakfast (packed sandwich & coffee/tea/mineral water)! Oh God! This was a must-grab-deal ever!

Very good”
The lady manager is just wonderful. Nothing is too much problem. I arrived at 3am, and my booking was for a room starting at midday. She gave me my room early and wouldn't accept my offer of extra payment. She arranged Ebike rental for me, and woke up early so she could drive me to the ferry terminal. Unbelievable. A very good memory of staying at the Shwe Na Di guest house. Highly recommended. Keith

Great location, great value”
This place is a fantastic option in Yangon to be in the thick of the action and not burn a hole in your pocket. The rooms are small but you won't be spending that much time in the room anyway!

maybe a good deal, not for couple”
The room was shockingly small, not able to anticipate when I booked. One of better locations for walking to things, though not pedestrian friendly particularly. Staff was rather good when asked for something, but not proactive in welcoming. We don't know Yangon to judge its competitors, but we got a better deal, room and service in two other cities including Mandalay.

Location, staff”
This is the third guest house I stay during my trip to Myanmar. Staff were friendly and helpful. It located in chinatown and plenty of local restaurants, street foods around and local transportation nearby. Room is very small but completed with a private bathroom, hot water and tv though bedsheet may not be fresh washed. They allowed me to check-in in the morning, a credit to them.

Great service and location”
The hotel signage is pretty obvious so it is good if you take a cab from the airport, will cost you 8,000 kyat from airport taxi service counter. Return trip just book from the hotel at 9,000 kyat. The room size is fair for the price we paid, not very small. The service was excellent for the 4 days we stayed there. Limited English but able to communicate. Data network does not work in room but the wifi provided is strong throughout. Walking distance from 19th Street Chinatown food market and many many street stalls everywhere. Don't bother walking to Swedagon Pagoda, it is far. We tried. Taxi cost 2,500 kyat. Uber app works as well.

The location and the price are great!”
Even if there no windows in the room and it’s very small, for that price, it’s a great deal! The staff are very kind and helpful. You are in the middle of Chinatown and you have a lot of food and drinks around. Do if you don’t have high expectations, you will not be desapointed.

Nice and clean room”
I stayed there in a nice small single room with own bathroom. It was clean, modern and with AC. I haven't had a real window but that was okay. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The only minus is the missing mirror in the bathroom. Will book this hotel again!

Very good”
Cheap and good enough for the price. The room does not like like what I have seen on the Internet. The photo is too beautiful, but it is not that bad. The place is so convenient

Clean quiet accommodation”
Rooms aren't huge but they are clean. Good bathroom with hot shower. Great WiFi connexion considering we are in Myanmar. Breakfast is terrible...a processed piece of cake and 1 coffee in a paper cup. (not a breakfast at all), plus there is no sitting area with tables, they serve this 'no breakfast'@ reception. The staff were nice and helpful.
