We were fully satisfied by the friendly staff, the delicious breakfast and the good Location. The beds are comfortable and not worn out. You will meet travelers from all over the world.

Great tours and very accommodating ”
We had a great stay here while in Hpa An. The staff is extremely accommodating. They graciously checked us in very very early in the morning when we arrived on a night bus. They also let us pay a small amount to extend our room until our night bus left when I was recovering from food poisoning. The WiFi is okay and the AC is very cold. They also provided fresh towels each day. We took the day tour they arrange and thought it was great. It can feel a bit rushed at times, but you fit in a ton of the nearby sights. They were also great about helping us arrange a tuk tuk for a sunrise hike up Mt Zwegabin and booked our onward travel to Kalaw which was very helpful. Great value for the price!

I stay here every time I go back”
A lot of the negative reviews I see on here have to do with Hpa-an not having much to do for tourists. Why does that affect your view of the hotel? I stay at Soe Brothers 2 every time I visit Hpa-an, which is pretty frequently. It's a little far from the downtown area, but it's beside a fresh market, and there are tons of places to eat if you don't require an expensive restaurant. The staff are great and so friendly. Honestly, the only time I've seen them be rude is when guests were rude to them first. They have bikes to rent, and they'll show you places on the map to visit. I arrive sometimes at 3 am, and there's someone to check me in, then they let me hang out and take a shower before catching a night bus well after check out. I definitely recommend it if you visit Hpa-an (which I also recommend).

Clean, provide towels, tooth brush, toilet paper, soap. Can by tickets, rent motorbike. Very good hot breakfast. One thing which is really annoying - beds are still packed in plastic so when somebody moves you can hear everything. It is especially annoying during night time. You should unpack mattresses and curtains would also help to create some privacy :) everything else is good.

Wifi is pretty good . Hot shower works well but the water pressure a bit slow . Just that they don’t provide mineral water for free . You’ve to purchase it . We bought bus tickets for 6000kyaats to yangon and feel ok . Staffs able to speak english and all our requests were full filled . Breakfast was also good . Had varieties of foods . They also let you to take shower after check out . Overall I’m satisfied. I would recommend for the stay here . Thank you soe brothers and team!

Cheap for Myanmar. Good location”
The hostel is in a good spot by the river. You can rent a bike from them or if not there is another place just five minutes away. They can provide tours and bus tickets at the hostel, free breakfast is good. I had some things stolen in the dorm room (powerbank and universal plug) but that was my fault for leaving them out while I left the room. I believe it was other guests, not the staff. Look after your stuff!

Positive: - Close to the River with a local market on the way - Stuff is always helpful and kind - They arrange special stuff for you if you ask (I could print out important formulas, get the motorbike already at 4am, move an additional bed to the twin room so our friend could stay with us for 2 more nights) - Everything is really clean and they even provide free toothbrushes, single-use toothpaste, shower cap - There is actually water pressure and warm water for showering - They clean everything almost everyday - For breakfast you can eat as much as you like, there is no limit Negative: - The group bathrooms arent as 'perfectly' clean as the private rooms, but still fine - After your checkout, you can leave your stuff with them and enjoy the rest of the day before your bus leaves Other Notes: - My room (two single bed room) had darkened windows and no mosquito net

Very nice rooms, spacious, clean and friendly. Breakfast is good, restaurant expensive. Staff helpful, tours they offer are expensive. Had a room at the corner next to a big tree where a flock of birds was keeping me awake from 3:00 a.m onwards. Would ask to change the room the next time. Nice hotel but still expensive.

Staff was nice and gentle. The atmosphere is perfect for solo, couple and family. Its multi mix up. Hot shower is the best where I experience in Myanmar. They also allow us early check in after a night bus. Rental motor bike is fair price 8000mmk. Everything is good, if I come back Hpa An, I will live here again.

Not really a social atmosfeer but they do offer a tour. I would suggest you take a scooter though. Had so much fun exploring the places where tours do not take you. Guesthouse was good. Beds sleep well and they provide a toothbrush and everything. It is clean and breakfast is good.

The location is convenient for the bus stop (only a few meters away) but it is far from everything else. The dorms are very big and with so many people waking up at different hours to go hiking you barely sleep.

Stay four nigths.. The first one was everything really good in the double.. And olso the 2nd one in the dorm. Last 2 were in the 2nds floor that is really noisy in the morning couse breackfast room is just on the top. Best wi fi in Myanmar. They rent motorbike ... Good price.

Dorm is not good for sleeping”
The bathroom and shower in the room mean that people wake up and turn on the light and flush toilets while you are in the room, or shower at odd hours such as 1130pm or 6am. There's an organized hiking group leaving every day at 330am and also using the toilet and loitering in the room. I've never seen a bathroom in the dorm room like this one before, it is really odd. There are bathrooms outside of the room to use but the one in the room confuses people into using it at inappropriate hours. There are glass bricks in the bathroom wall so people flick the light switch on lighting up the whole room and waking you up (especially top bunk beds) and then flushing the toilet. Kind of entertaining to take a midnight dump and then allow the bathroom smell to dance through the dreamtime of other guests. The location is good though.
