This resort was roomy and convenient location for surfing spot I lated the surfing school but they are very kind We enjoyed big wave and surf experience with lots of surfer in beautiful beach It was easy to reach convenient store at 1st floor Unfortunately, We can't use the roof top rounge bar, the mood was so hot in there. It made me happy with all staying songjeong marina resort!

My wife and I wanted a nice, peaceful weekend on the beach, and we definitely found it at Songjung Beach and Songjung Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and spoke some English. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Though we didn't have a beach-facing room, we still had a nice balcony view. There is a great coffee shop in the hotel, and several good restaurants within walking distance. The beach was much less crowded than Haeundae, and that was in the middle of June. That may change in July since that is "official" beach season. I can't say for certain. The price is a little more than an average love motel, but it's completely worth it! We will be staying at this hotel again. Very pleased!

THE GOOD: It was a superb stay. LOCATION: It’s situated in a very lovely beachfront area, on a beach (Songjeong) not so crowded like the Haeundae but just as nice. If you dig a relaxed stay in Busan, waking up & walking across a quaint (but not eerie) abandoned railroad, to reach & walk barefoot on the beach, then this place is perfect for you. GUESTHOUSE: The guesthouse is newly built & spotless. I stayed in a 6 person dorm room & the thing I love about it the most is the sliding blinds for the bed, so even if you’re technically sharing space with 5 individuals, you can still have some privacy. I’m artsy so I was also delighted with the place’s concept & décor. Definitely a plus for ambiance. STAFF: Extremely helpful, Naomi, the CEO even suggested good eats within the area. They were good. THE NOT SO GOOD: Of course as with all trade-offs, since the place IS relaxing, it is a bit far from downtown. It would cost you money (around 5000 KRW) taking a taxi from the nearest station Jangsan. Plus most taxi drivers don’t know of the place. If they don’t have GPS you’re toast. I suggest using the buses. What I used is the 100 or 200 bus from Haeundae Stn. (Line 2) exit # 1. Go right after exiting & you’ll see the bus stop. A small sign (you can see there that bus # 100 & 200 passes by) Get on (fare is considerably cheaper at around 1250 won) & get off in the station named “송정1단지주공” (pronounced as SongJeong Ill-Dan Ji Ju Gong) which directly translates as “Songjeong Apts. 1”. From there walk around 3 minutes to your right & you’ll see the “From Guesthouse”. It’s a charcoal grey building. CLEANING TIME: Another quirky thing about the guesthouse is they have cleaning time from 11am-4pm, wherein you cannot stay inside the room! I was surprised. I mean, no problem for me since I’m out & about but for others? Dunno. It was kinda weird for me but definitely not a deal breaker. It was still an amazing stay.

This is more a motel, like the love hotel style for couples. The rooms are of a decent size with en suite bathroom, they are clean and safe with desks and computers. Unfortunately the locale is slightly further than I realised being a good 20 minute cab journey to Centnum/Bexco area. There are no real facilities or food options it is simply a place to sleep and hold your stuff. The free wifi is a little misleading as it is not available in the room apart from on the PC, to use smartphone or tablet you need to go in lobby. Staff only speak Korean but do very best to accomadate, when I asked to book a taxi, the ajuma left the desk and walked me to the main road and flagged one down for me. Big problem was many cab drivers didn't know how to find it so I often ended up going to general area and walking 5 mins or so.

We had a great time. The hotel itself is rather far from the subway station, but if you ask a cab driver to take you to Songjeong beach, it'll be easy to find from there. Food options are rather weak, as it appears the area isn't popular with fast food joints (or places with non-Korean food) -- that's unless you eat at the coffee shops around. The people working there spoke pretty good English and the rooms were very creatively decorated. Would definitely stay there again.
