Hands Down Best Abroad Experience This Year”
Truly amazing. I was expecting some dingy, shady, sham of a Hostel with questionable sanitation (i.e. every other hostel I've been to), but instead was met with amazing people from around the world, with whom I made fast friends by the end of the night, spotless beds in a dorm environment, a fully furnished--very college student friendly--bar and restaurant, and an incredible view (we're ON the river). Plus the Sunday open mic night made for fun times all around, followed by a "beat the bar" session in which staff and clients were essentially indistinguishable from one another. Sometimes I found myself wondering if St. Christopher's Inns had some sort of ulterior motive for treating us so well (like, I dunno, they were all in some weird cult and were trying to convert us all). But NOPE--they're just awesome people, and the pricing is too good to be true... but it is!

Amazing Staff - Unforgettable Experience”
As a solo traveler - and a first time traveler at that - I was really anxious about my visit overall. Within 4 hours of being at the hostel though - I was instantly welcomed by a friendly staff and people who were inviting. The hostel is also located super close to the metro - allowing me to get to where I want to go with ease. While the place itself was nice, the best part of St. Christophers Canal Hostel was the amazing staff. Hope to visit again really soon and make valuable friendships.

Good hostel with pretty good prices for Paris. ”
This was my first time staying at a St. Christopher's. It was a pretty good hostel, especially for Paris. Beds were good and the curtains on them were even better. The ladder to get up to the top bunk was awkward.

Charming Christopher's”
The reception is usually always pretty busy but that's a good sign. The free buffet style breakfast is great for getting an early start on your day to see Paris' attractions easily accessible from the Pink line just a short 5-8 minute walk from the hostel along the canal. If you walk a little more there's gorgeous parks where you can sit and picnic overlooking the Science museum. Later at night, grab a drink at the bar right in the lobby and continue your after party like I did with friends from around the globe drinking strange liquor that the Argentinian girl brought from back home. Overall, this Hostel was a pleasant experience. Would recommend.

Best office in town!”
Very good facilities & food, great location & very easy to get to from Gare du Nord if you travel by Eurostar but also central to many other stations. Rooms & bathrooms were clean and there is a female only floor. The place can get a bit noisy and crowded at night as the bar is really lively & they do meet/greet activities plus there is a nightclub but I think the socialising is part of hostel life. I never had any problem sleeping. I also worked from here during the day for 2 days and that included a couple of skype calls & I had no problems due to noise etc. Wifi was good and reliable so that was useful. I have now stayed a few times and would go back. I recommend this hostel to anyone travelling for fun or work.

An Intruder Came Into My Room”
(1) LOCATION: next to canal. 3 blocks fr Metro. (2) PRIVACY: curtains, lamp, socket. (3) BATHROOMS cleaned > once a day. (-) Dorm bedroom doors DONT LOCK automatically. You must manually lock the door. I'm in a 12 man dorm. How many ppl will manually lock the door? I told front desk about it and they said that's the way it is. Sure enough the next day a guy comes into my 5th F dorm room & lies down on the sofa. After 30 min I asked him what he was doing. He said waiting for a friend. I told him to wait downstairs. He accused me of lacking the hostel "spirit" & began eating chips & cookies belonging to others. I packed all of my stuff & went downstairs to tell staff. (-) All of the electrical sockets are LOOSE. If you have to use a converter AND your charging unit, they will fall off. The electrical sockets are loose from overuse. Additionally they are located a meter high.

Cheap hostel in Paris”
It was a good value for the price. I thought I wouldn't be able to find a cheap hostel in Paris for a budget traveler like me but for a one night stay, this really fit. It was a little uncomfortable staying in the same room with the opposite gender, but there were curtains for each bed, so you can just shut everyone out and do your own thing. You will have to be lucky to be together with considerate people who don't make noise during sleeping time though. The shower slots had this knob you have to press to keep the water flowing, so basically to have to press it in intervals of time (lots of time) while you're showering, which is a little inconvenient. The bathroom was kept clean though, and that's a plus.

Close to Paris canal”
I had mixed feelings. The hostel is close to the canal which is very beautiful, but it is far from the tourist spots in Paris. The dorm is nice and clean, but the wall between bed is very thin that you can hear person toss and turn during night. And if you're on the top bunk, your things can fall to the lower bunk. No hook for towel or clothes. You have to wait for the toilets and showers cleaning at 7 AM. Bar is very good and discount for hotel guests.

Good for your last days in Paris”
Hostel has a lot of adolescent school groups. No in room bathrooms. Breakfast is decent for the price. Located far from city center. There are better hostels to stay at if you want to see the city. On site restaurant serves reasonably priced American food. I used this hostel for my last night in Paris at the end of my trip.

Exceptional”
Good hostel to stay in. A bit away from everything but the metro is super close. No kitchen but there is a bar downstairs that you get discounted food and drinks at and there is breakfast for €5 in the morning. Would stay again.

Good location, rooms are clean”
My stay at St Chris' was a good one. The 6 bed female dorm was very clean, as was the rest of the place in general. Crimee metro station is just a short walk a way and there are plenty of supermarkets if you need to get anything. The food in the bar downstairs was decent, though maybe priced a bit on the high side. The only grouse would be that out of three shower stalls, two could not be used (one was not working, the other could not lock). And also the lift sometimes does not work, but staff will help you out if you ask them.

Nice and new hostel”
Very nice and modern hostel. I slept only one night and I have no bad experiences with it. breakfast was great (buffet style). The hostel is new and would recommend it to others.

best value no doubt”
only issue its there is no actual kitchen but the hostel is really nice, there is a lift so you dont need to take your bags up a flight of stairs; the bed got curtains so privacity.

Depends on luck ”
The location is good: there are 3 metro near the Inn and it takes around 5 minutes to go to each of them to reach the heart of Paris. The only problem I had during my stay was that I did not know their open space belongs to a bar/pub. My first night was terrible: I got back late (around 11) to find people drinking and making lots of noises on the 1st floor, and people in my room kept going in a out until around 4am. I could barely sleep on that night, especially when I figured that nearly all of them are males. I booked a mixed 'cause there's no other choice but did not expect no girl. The second night was better: there were fewer people (I was in a room of 12 beds), some of them are girls and maybe because of the rain people didnt go out drinking and did not make noise.
