"I'm still not sure that being able to claim that you're the narrowest hotel in your city is really something to brag about, but that's the claim that is made in the lift at the Lord Nelson. It's a comfortable hotel, with a maritime theme that turned out to be quite homely, although they may be taking advantage of the theme to provide very small 'Cabin' rooms. However, the rooms have everything you need, so its not as if you lose out because of the size. The hotel is located in the middle of the Gamla Stan, Stockholm's old town, so you can walk out of the door and right into the flow of pedestrian traffic - and you only need to walk, because all the attractions in the Gamla Stan are within walking distance. In terms of extras, the hotel has a sauna (a good way to relax after a long day), a rooftop bar (not used because of the rain) and quite a good breakfast. I thought it was decent value for money in a city that I was told was quite expensive. "
