Interesting experience in a train cabin”
Good option for solo travellers. Reception, washrooms and kitchen facilities are in a separate building beside the cabins. Cabin room is quaint and located just beside the lake. Nice view as you step out of the train. Wifi connectivity might depend on the location of the room.

Åk aldrig till Rättviks Tåghotell! Priset var lågt men servicen var ännu lägre. Duschar i något som såg ut som en lagerlokal och inga utrymmen att umgås i förutom något som kalladen för kök. Frukosten serverades inte förrän klockan 09.00 på morgonen. Det går inte att bo två personer i en före detta liggvagn om man har bagage och inte bara vill sova. Dåligt!

tågstallarna är gamla trevliga andraklassvagnar och är placerade vid järnvägen. man sover gott och de som bor där är fullt medvetna om lyhördhet mm och anpassar sig därefter. vi sov gott och tyckte om vagnen. duscha fick vi göra i gamla lokstallarna och en toalett fanns i vagnen. frukosten i lokstallarna kunde definitivt varit något mer fantasifull. sten-erik johansson, v storgatan 9a, gnesta
