It says that all the staff other than one of the reception went out to the festival being held. It is ridiculous. There is no water from midnight until morning. I can not wash my face, toothpaste, face, I couldnt go to the toilet and check out. It's like garbage 45 $. The last stay in Taunggy became the worst memory."

"The bh Hotel is a nice, quiet place to stay located behind St Joseph's Cathedral. It was my first trip to Taunggyi in 16 years and was nice to revisit this rapidly growing city nestled on the top of the Shan escarpment. The bh Hotel is convenient to most things downtown and an easy walk to Ms. Linn's restaurant (a left turn at the cathedral corner and another left turn) who serve an excellent Pegu Club Cocktail. The bh Hotel's breakfast was quite good and staff friendly. It's location is good for exploring the new Taunggyi, monsoon weather relenting. Otherwise, the hotel is located near shopping and easy walking distance from some of Taunggyi's restaurants."

"The staff was very accommodating in arranging rides for us, driving our group members to the sister hotel, and letting us off the hook for a non-used booking! The downside was that we had a lot of mold in our room which ended up making us quite sick. Other members in our group had no mold, so maybe it is just a couple of rooms."
