Fantastic cruise”
My family (husband and two teen-aged children) and I had a fabulous time on the Au Co cruise through Halong Bay. Everything was perfect. The ship itself is very comfortable with beautiful cabins (very comfortable beds and great bathrooms), and spacious and comfortable public areas from which to choose for lounging (bar area and deck, top deck with lounge chairs, armchairs, small tables, etc.). The food was excellent and well-served. The entire crew was terrific and went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. I can't compliment them enough. The activities were interesting and worth doing, as well as being nicely timed. There was a good balance of time spent with others and time we had to ourselves to lounge here or there on the ship, with or without a drink, book, etc. I had spent a lot of time reading various reviews of Halong Bay cruises before choosing Au Co and I'm very satisfied with my choice. It was well worth the price and was an unforgettable experience. I would definitely love to go back and would choose Au Co again.

A must do”
We heard lots of stories of disappointment of other boat operators in Halong Bay and we wanted to finish our 4 week holiday with something special - and Au Co Cruise did not disappoint. From the moment we booked, every point of contact with staff was efficient, helpful and friendly. Arriving on the boat confirmed we were in for a memorable few days. Our cabin was beautifully presented, clean and spacious. The meals on board were of exceptional quality and the crew were lovely. The two night cruise took us out further into the bay where the water quality is better, the scenery is magnificent and you escape the presence of 100 other boats & tourists. The activities/on-shore trips were well planned, just the right amount of time at each place and well worth doing. This company seems to put a lot of effort into training their staff and have a good corporate culture and it is reflected in the cruise. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone who wants the best possible experience of Halong Bay.

Fantastic itinerary and service”
Definitely the best cruise experience on Ha Long Bay. The only 3D2N cruise that gives you access to the cruise ship throughout. Everything was perfect... except for the spa services. Staff service was superb... especially the humorous cruise manager and the asst cruise manager. Our room was cleaned/ packed almost everytime we leave the room for the planned activities. Food is good and very nicely presented. When we go for beach activities, beach towels and cold water are prepared. When we return, we are welcomed back with refreshing iced tea and cold peppermint scented towels. A lot of effort is put into the whole cruise.

You need to be careful when choosing a cruise in Ha Long Bay, there are so many to choose from and the boats are in many different states of repair. The ships use by Au Co are exceptional and I would recommend spending the extra money to do this luxury cruise.

Best Halong Bay Experience”
Fantastic stay at the Au Co. 3-day cruise escaped all other boats due to an longer cruise route - barely any other boats except at the end. The suite with its terrace was stunning (didn't want to leave the room), staff very friendly and food excellent. Also the excursions are to be recommended. Definitely experience Halong Bay on board of the Au Co.

We have 5 course meals for lunch and dinner. We stayed at the au co suite which has bigger balcony and can enjoy the beautiful scenary from the room while taking photos. The rooms are cleaned twice a day, and we really enjoyed ourselves very much. Wifi was available most of the time during cruise, depending on their mobile data connection.

Had a lovely stay on the Au Co that was beyond expectations. Halong Bay was spectacular and the Au Co made the experience even more awesome with its fantastic ship and crew. It is also very heartening to know that the company behind the Au Co supports sustainable and responsible cruising and tourism through 'clean the bay' exercises to protect the environment.

See Ha Long Bay without the crowds”
We did the 3D/2N tour and it was absolutely amazing. Of course Ha Long Bay itself is spectacular, but the cruise did a great job of taking us around areas that weren't so crowded and it felt like we had the bay to ourselves. The swimming and kayak were the best activities by far and the meals on board were beyond my expectations.

Cruise off the main tourist track!”
We really loved the cruise. The boat went on a route where at least during the first 2 days you did not see many other boats. Food was great and staff was very professional and helpful. We also liked that certain drinks like water, coffee and tea were complimentary. All activities are included and there are also some alternatives for the less sporty or guests with mobility problems.

Most memorable and relaxing and fun-filled”
Most enjoyable. Everything was thought of to make guests feel pampered and comfortable. It was fun and memorable. Activities to visit islands in the surrounds were well organised and varied. On-board activities like cooking demonstrations and tai-chi were appreciated. Only one slip-up. My booking for the massage was cancelled by mistake by the staff, resulting in me no longer be able to have a massage. This could be avoided in future by having proper booking and cancellation processes and staff training.

A magical honeymoon experience”
Amazing balcony, all activities planned out perfectly and free-- no tourist traps or exploitation- very warm staff - luxurious washroom - great sleep - carry your own booze .. They upgraded me to a room with a balcony as I was on my honeymoon .. And thank god for that -- I spent a lot o time watching the sunset from there.. Also they cut a cake during dinner to mark the occasion..

The trip was super relaxing - one day felt like one week! Marc, Tung and the ship's crew were wonderful and attentive to each and every guest onboard. The dining was superb with imaginative use of the local produce. Three days/two nights is just not enough!
