The Cityview is a very cost-effective hotel. The location is good, and I believe the quality of the service and the cleanliness of the rooms exceed the price. What impressed me the most was the stress-free experience with the bathroom facilities. The temperature control is easy, and both hot and cold water come out immediately. Although the water pressure is slightly weaker compared to Japanese hotels, it is not an issue at all. The sink was also very easy to use. I think there are many cheaper hotels, but I would definitely recommend this hotel for those who want to have a comfortable stay. Considering the convenience of the location, cleanliness, and safety, I felt that it is worth a little extra. The Cityview offers excellent cost-effectiveness. The rooms and service are of high quality for the price, and the location is also very convenient. What impressed me the most was the stress-free experience with the bathroom facilities. The water temperature is easy to adjust, and both hot and cold water are available immediately. While the water pressure is slightly weaker compared to Japanese hotels, it was more than sufficient and not an issue at all. The bathroom sink was also very easy to use. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Hong Kong. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

My son absolutely loved the bathtub. That was the first highlight of our stay. Overall, we had a comfortable experience, though a few small pros and cons stood out. ⭐ Pros Excellent location: Close to everything.. MTR, hospital, restaurants, convenience stores, and more. No security deposit required: We only paid the 3% fee (around 140+ HKD) for our 5-day stay. Good housekeeping: Daily cleaning, towel changes, trash removal, and refills of tea and coffee. Cleaner is polite and nice too! Room change accommodated: I accidentally booked a Premier Plus Twin, but they kindly honored my request to switch to a Premier Plus King (same price). Discounted Breakfast: it was not included in our booking but we only paid 80hkd each instead of regular 120hkd. 4yo below is free as well.. ⚠️ Cons Bed is quite firm: My son hurt his knees while playing and landing on it. Curtains aren’t blackout: We’re night owls, so we prefer a darker room for sleeping. No bathroom lock: Not a major issue, but more privacy would be appreciated. No microwave: It would have been convenient for reheating food esp since we have a toddler No hair dryer socket in the bathroom: A small inconvenience but worth noting. overall, we are happy with our stay and will consider coming back in the future.

We are delighted to hear that your son’s enjoyment of the bathtub was a highlight and that you found your overall experience comfortable and satisfying. Your kind words about our prime location, housekeeping standards, and the flexibility with your room change are truly appreciated. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the firmness of the bed, curtains, and some amenities during your stay; your feedback is invaluable in helping us enhance our services and facilities. Please rest assured that your comments are very important to us, and we have shared them with our team to ensure improvements are made. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for an even better experience. Yours sincerely, Executive Office The Cityview
We had a fantastic stay at The Cityview YMCA Hotel! The location is unbeatable — just a few steps from the elevator exit of Yau Ma Tei MTR station, making it so easy to get around. There are plenty of shops and food options nearby, including Jollibee, BestMart 360, and other convenience stores. One thing we really appreciated was the free water refill station in the lobby and the luggage storage service, which was very helpful after check-out. The staff were all so kind and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. The room was clean, spacious (especially by Hong Kong standards), and very comfortable. My son and I shared a single bed and still had enough space to sleep well. There was also a kettle, hair dryer, and in-room fridge, which made our stay even more convenient. If you're planning to go to the Ladies' Market, it’s just a short 5–10 minute walk away. Transportation is very accessible — there’s a bus stop right in front of KFC for the airport route, and another bus stop in front of Jollibee for the TST/Star Ferry route. Overall, we had such a fun and comfortable experience. We would definitely stay here again!

“CONVENIENT, ACCESSIBLE, & COMFORTABLE”
We really enjoyed our stay here in The Cityview. VERY CONVENIENT, ACCESSIBLE, and COMFORTABLE. 1. Location is VERY ACCESSIBLE! Very near Yau Ma Tei MTR & bus stops for HKIA, so we did not have a hard time for our transportation! 2. It is near many food shops/stalls that we did not have a hard time in finding & choosing where to eat. We were glad it's very near Filipinos' very own Jollibee! 3. The rooms are VERY COMFORTABLE & spacious (in comparison to HK's hotel rooms). Though we were expecting adapters provided in each rooms (there is an outlet for USB types but unfortunately, most of us had Type C cables), and also bidets in the comfort rooms, we suggest considering those things in your rooms. 4. The front desks and staff are ALL VERY FRIENDLY and ACCOMMODATING! From check-in, to cleaning, to check-out, it was all smooth. We were locked out TWICE from our rooms but the front desks assisted us. Even the cleaning staff were very courteous (every time we pass by each other in the hallway, they always say good morning to us! And even asked us if we needed cleaning in our rooms). 5. What stood out to us is they have BIBLES in every room! Praise God for His goodness! We are DEFINITELY RECOMMENDING The Cityiew to others. Please expect us soon to have more stays in your hotel! God bless you and more power to your hotel!
