    Highly recommend Islander 214. This was our first trip to Destin and it was phenomenal. Clean facility and beach accessibility was better than anticipated. We will definitely be back.

    We loved the pool areas, the views of the beach and the short walk to the beach. The resort is in a awesome location.

    Didn't like that there was a parking fee of 15$ per day that was just implemented to the resort not too long ago, so too me it was an unexpected charge of 150$, for my week as soon as I got there. Also did not enjoy the fact that the room was pretty dirty including the carpets. The carpets and furniture are very worn down and the whole unit just needs a deep clean and maybe a little updated (furniture). Floors did also leave our feet black the whole time so a good deep deep floor cleaning in the whole unit would be highly suggested. We contacted property about it, and was told it was gonna get taken care of, but never did, all they did do, was send a unit out to vacuum the carpet again which i had stated, it needs much more then just vaccumed, but thankfully I was able to get some type of refund back, because they charge a cleaning fee in the resort stay also, and I only got a refund for the parking fee of 150, which they agreed was not stated in my fees of the third party booking. So I feel like I should of got a refund for cleaning fee and the Parking fee, but I was able to get something, so it didn't completely ruin the stay.
