"This is definitely the best hostel that I have ever stay! Staff are amazing and very friendly, breakfast is simple but I can feel lots of love in it as the staff prepared it every morning. The place is tidy which I really appreciate it, the hostel is located in New Town and it took around 5 mins walk to Scott Monument so it is very convenient to go almost every main attractions in Edinburgh. Just want to thank all of the staff that gave me a wonderful trip in Edinburgh, I would like to stay in here again!"

"Location and buses excellent. Went out until really late and got into and out of Edinburgh with ease. Very clean hotel. Lots of everything provided. Very clear instructions. Easy to get in and out of the hotel and free parking. Really impressed with the value for money and will definitely be using again!"

"Breakfast was good, but not impressed by the evening meal. But if you are wanting a decent well priced, fairly central location with clean rooms and decent whisky in the bar, this is the place for you. My wife and I came for the Christmas fair, and will definitely be staying at the Brittania Hotel in Edinburgh again."

"Highly recomended for a budget hostel in edinburgh. I should come and stay from the first day in edinburgh. But because the picture not so appealing, so i choose other hostel one fine day back from my highland tour, i booked this hostel to try out, because the best rate for the day. Surprised by the cleanliness, comfort of this hostel lift for your luagage First day i stay at disable room. Surprise me, a hostel with disable room. Inside each room, there are 3 toilets with shower Each bed with curtain for privacy Windows each room, because i have stay in different room Location justbin the center of old town Tidy Laundry room £3.5 for washing Cooking area Really highly recomendbthis hostel, come and stay here for budget traveller. "We found this Hotel to be very convenient for our purposes. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Any extra items i.e. towels coffee etc. were obtained from the desk without any problem. The rooms were very clean and serviced every day. As it was very hot and no A/C in room, it became a bit uncomfortable to sit in the room for any length of time. I suppose it was unusually hot for Edinburgh, so couldn't be helped. The only problem with room was the total lack of drawer space, but apart from that, perfectly adequate. It is a very conveniently placed hotel within a few minutes walk of most amenities and only 5 minutes walk to Princes Street. Overall we had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. "

"The ocation just beside twaverley station, 2 min from royal mile,5 min from edinburgh castel, and the fare also good for a solo traveler like me. Room is organized nicely, bathroom is very clran, the staff is very helpfull, and you it has lift, so need to drag your heavy lugage through the painful stairs. I will stay here longer if I visit Edinburgh."

"Have stayed her before, and still one of our best hotels, room on the small side. But was sufficient for our two night stay, Tea & Coffee, Fridge, Hairdryer, and very clean. Bus right outside hotel front door, into Edinburgh city centre, first class breakfast each morning, something for everyone, from cereal to a full cooked. Would recommend if staying in Edinburgh."
