On a budget? Find Cheap Hotels in Nahariya, Israel

"Maybe 30-40 years ago it was a best hotel in the city. Now it's old building with aged rooms and aged everything (such as lighting, plumbing, elevators etc). Shame to greedy owners. It's so good location for outstanding hotel. I'll never rent room in that hotel again. Not worth a penny."

"We often stay in Nahariya, on the Mediterranean in the Western Galilee en route to trips through the mountains on the way to Zefat, Tiberias, the Panhandle and the Golan Heights. We usually stay at places close to the sea, but they were booked solid so we chose the Olive Boutique Hotel because it was the only one with space available during the busy winter season. It is located just off the highway, on the main East-West route, and is about 1 km from the sea. It is in a building adjacent to the very modern Arena mall and we really didn't know what to expect. Indeed it was a bit tricky to find the special entrance and parking area for this boutique hotel. But from the moment we walked into the small lobby, we realised we were in for a treat. There is a small but very professional staff of two manning the desk, and everything was read for us. There are only two floors with 17 units on each. Each floor has its own dining area, and from the minute you enter the ultra modern elevator, you know you are in for a treat. The lobbies on both floors are huge, and there are books on free loan in a spacious bookshelf. Huge windows and spare but modern furniture grace the lobbies. The area is airy, and everything is modern, bright and shiny, giving new meaning to the term "boutique". The hallways are beautifully illuminated, with lights opening automatically as one walks to one's room. And the room was a marvel. Big, spacious, tastefully decorated with modern decor, and very bright. Every area was spotless, the bed super large and comfortable and it even had a wide balcony. And the complementary breakfast we were provided was modest in size, but included almost as good a selection of fishes, cheeses, salads and eggs to order as is available in the famous Israeli breakfasts in the largest hotels. To top it off, the rooms were virtually soundproof, with no road noise, and no noise from adjacent rooms. We were surprised to learn at breakfast that there were actual"
