"Loved absolutely everything about this place! The concept, the food, the cute little bungalows where you can jump to the river right from your porch! Free yoga class, bycicles and kayaks for guests, astonishing view and great vibe. Ended up not living it for our whole short Kampot stay. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone planning to visit Kampot and relax. "

"We had a few nice days at Karmas. It’s located a bit out of town but still reachable within a few minutes walk. They rent motorbikes, great for exploring the surrounding, even though the streets are a bit of a mess. Unfortunately there are some big new houses being built right next to the bungalows so in the morning there’s not much sleep to get, also some really dangerous sounding dogs around at night barking a lot. Still the rooftop is amazing, best sunset views and great vibes up there and we enjoyed jumping in the pool. All in all we wouldn’t want to miss out stay there and can only recommend it :) Just didn’t like getting a nearly empty gastank and seeing them taking out the fuel of our filled tank when we returned it, shouldn’t be the way to do it."

"Had a fantastic stay here, and didn't want to leave. I heard about this from Nomadic Matt so I booked for a couple of nights, but I kept extending my stay because the town of Kampot and this hostel were so great. I eventually had to move on because they were completely booked, and I didn't want to risk a bad hostel experience by moving someplace else, so I left town reluctantly. But William and Gerard are FANTASTIC. William is hands down the nicest host/owner I've met on my 2 month trip so far. And the food here is to die for. Cheap and delicious, plus just an easy place to hang out (either in the spacious garden or inside the air conditioned bar). It's about a 5 min walk to the "main" drag in town, but you can rent a bike from the tour company across the street for $1/day and its super easy to get around Kampot. Just go and stay here, you won't be disappointed."

"Close to everything in Kampot but still quiet as the bar (with quiet music) closes at midnight. Super friendly staff. Although not all of them spoke a lot of English we had no trouble communicating what we needed. Food and drinks were good for a reasonable price, the rooftop terrace was our favorite spot to hang out and meet other travelers when it rained a lot. The room had everything we needed including fan and aircon but the lightbulbs could have been a bit brighter as we didn't have a window. Water bottle refill was for free which helped us to avoid buying more plastic bottles. If I return to Kampot I'll definitely stay here again."
