"I love my stay at The Okura Prestige Taipei Hotel. It's a brand new hotel with excellent customer service. We stayed in an Okura Double Room. Great value for money with the room luxuriously confortable and equipped. Located very centrally and very near to the Zhongshan MRT Station, it makes travelling around all the tourist attractions within Taipei City an ease. The size of the room is big and very spacious. The essential needs like the shower & WC are pretty High Tech & excellent quality. Definitely will stay there again in my next visit to Taipei and I highly recommend this hotel for first timers to Taipei or anyone looking for a great hotel within Taipei City near centrally located MRT Station. "

"Stayed 3 nights for meetings right next-door building so it was very convenient floor. I didn't realize it is a Nikko chain until I saw the sign at the entrance. So you can think of small but cosy room with all kind of high-tech equipments that help you relaxing you a lot (e.g. heated toilet lol). The room by far is much larger than a similar standard room in Japan which would cost you 400 dollar per night. The bed is soft and I did sleep well. Good thing is wifi is complimentary across the hotel so you can keep up with your biz around the clock. The breakfast is very good and fresh; the Japanese restaurant is very good too. Staff is extremely friendly and super fast in attending to your need. Think about hotel maids speaking English and Japanese and Chinese to you in downtown Taipei! I didn't recall in many other 5 stars hotel in Taipei. The best thing of the hotel for me is the sauna on the top floor which is complimentary for guests: very nice, clean and quiet most of the time. The location to me is good and beautiful as Chungshan North Road is just awesome to me with full of oak-like trees and as it is just about 15' by cab to most of my other meeting venus. I didn't see any MRT station within walking distance but who cares as Taipei taxi is very cheap. Again, with less than dollars a night, I think this hotel is value for money."

"Hotel is wonderful, much better than any other 5 star hotels in Taipei. Staff is amazing (esp lady Rudy&Ruby). We got complimentary early check in at 12pm, and even never requested for it, room on the high floor with very good view, super comfortable bed - even after check out we purchased their bed clothing at very reasonable price. Our trip was more than one week ago but we are still excited of it. Thank you Grand Hyatt."

"Room size is generous for 2 adults. Cleanliness is in line with general 5 star hotel standard. Service is quite on point. Location is in a newer part of Taipei and it is a good ten minutes walk to the metro station. Breakfast is standard pare for establishment of such kind. Had dinner twice in their GMT Italian restaurant. Food and ambience is ok but service is quite outstanding. Did not try their other three restaurants. Front counter services are up to mark."

"Extraordinary architecture of the Hotel is worth capturing in your camera. Bathrooms are thoroughly clean with everything at right place with right condition. Also the room comes with Huge balcony which was gift to me. As I am smoker so was not able to get any Hotel in Taipei where smoking is allowed. Then found out that smoking is prohibited by law in Hotel rooms. So this balcony came as blessing in disguise."

"I had an excellent overnight stay at Grand View Resort Beitou during Feb 2017. Pros: - Location: the hotel is located near all the other hot spring resorts in the Beitou area, less than an hour drive from downtown Taipei. - Hotel Facilities/Rooms - the hotel facilities were of top quality - the room (including the bathroom) was clean, spacious and very well kept. The room came with two hot spring spa tubs - one for hot spring and the other one for cold water. Both were very large and can easily fit multiple people. - Service was also of top quality. - Breakfast portions were very generous and was a nice touch after a relaxing night at the hotel. Cons: - Price: I guess this is the local market price. Hotels in Taiwan are generally very pricey by global standards. - Dinner at the Chinese restaurant downstairs was decent, but a bit overpriced at over NT$2,000 per person. Overall, I had a very satisfactory stay at the Grand View Resort Beitou and would definitely return for another visit. "

"I have stayed at W Taipei Hotel for more than twelve times. Booking: Ms Amy Tseng, the Guest Experience Manager, helped me with the room booking and restaurant booking. Arrival: Upon arrival, a very lovely lady, Ms Karen Chan, welcomed me. Karen was the Guest Experience Team Leader of W. Out of my surprise she spoke fluent Cantonese. Karen explained that she was a fellow Hongkonger who was posted at W Taipei. No wonder I always feel W Taipei my home at Taipei. Food: Both Yen and Kitchen Table served excellent food and beverages. Spa: Connie, Mandy and a trainee at the Reception of the Away Spa were friendly and cheerful. Rita was my favorite therapist. I felt totally relaxed after the Spa treatment. Departure: After spending three days at my home at Taipei, I had to leave. To comfort my sadness, Ms Jennifer Lai, the W Insider, met me in person at the reception and wished me a smooth flight and a quick revisit. Gratitude: Thanks to all the staff at W Taipei. "

"The check-in was handled quickly and smoothly. The staff was very attentive, including the dining service staff. Location: The hotel is not within walking distance to the MRT station but there is an hourly shuttle that takes you back and forth from the station. Taxi is easy and inexpensive: $70 NTD or $90 NTD during night time (less than $3 USD). Cabbing to center Taipei is about $500 NTD. Room: The room is spacious, well appointed with a nice flat screen TV which we didn't use. The window of our room was a bit small (hence the rating of 4 star out of 5) but had a nice territorial view. There is good privacy. The bed is very comfortable (King size). There is in-room hot spring soaking pool, with a nice window view of the surrounding area. Mini bar and snack and drinks are complementary. Turn down service is included. The hotel provides robe and sturdy sandals for using the public hot spring and facilities. Housekeeping is very thorough in their cleaning. Facilities: This facility includes a dry sauna, steam sauna, 2 interior hot spring pools (hot and warm), and 2 outdoor hot spring pools (hot and warm). It is no clothing so single gender only. There is a coed hot spring pool and regular pool (great for lap swimming). The hotel will sell/rent swim cap $100 NTD to rent, $300 NTD to purchase) which are required for the pool. Restaurant: The included breakfast was delicious. Choice of western or Asian. Dinner at the Chinese restaurant was also wonderful, attentive service, wonderful food, and very reasonable prices. Ambiance was good. Overall: Really enjoyed my stay at this property. I plan to stay here again in the future."
