"We were only in Phuket for less than 24 hours, and decided on this large resort. We were happy to get into our room early, relax by the pool, and explore Patong Beach. The staff was so friendly, and the rooms were simple and comfortable, but the best part was the view!! We did not expect to have a full on view of the ocean, so it was a lovely surprise to see a balcony with a beautiful view of Patong Beach. We saw the most gorgeous sunset in Thailand from this balcony!! I absolutely loved the 2 pools (one with a waterslide), but the infinity pool is the real winner. With a swim up bar, and amazing views, it's the real star of this resort. I spent hours there in my less than 24 hour visit to Phuket, and don't regret it a minute! (Additional perk was that we had breakfast included, but were leaving around 6:30am, so they packed us our breakfast to go!). For a short stay, this is great!"

"I was lucky enough to get to stay in this hotel after a terrible stay at a hotel earlier (Andatel Grande hotel Patong). Patong Bay hill has been the best i have stayed anywhere in phuket or south east asia probably (for the price ) and the view from the hotel is amazing. Its located on a very quiet hill away from the noise and lights of patong, Far not yet far. Perhaps 15 to 20 mins by walk. transport is not an issue at all as they provide free shuttle back and forth. Breakfast was awesome enjoyed it.the view from my pool access room was defintely the best one can get in phuket. service was excellent as well. they even provide complimentary cocktail drinks as well and also some nice fruits. fast check in / check out and excellent service by the local and russian receptionists there. wish the price was a bit lower other than that highly recommended will definitely stay again."

"we stayed here on our first stop in thailand after arriving in phuket. i wanted something secluded, and this was just the place. unfortunately, i underestimated how quiet and remote it would be. this is important because transportation is relatively costly. a ride into patong one-way; the hotel does offer shuttle service once a day to both patong and karon beach and back, but the times are pretty early. while you can walk to karon beach or patong, you'll be walking downhill on a dirt road with cars rushing past. the walk to karon is 15-20 minutes, and i imagine the walk to patong is around 30 minutes. we booked the most affordable garden view room through agoda. it's a large spacious room, with great features like a good ac, big tv, fridge. after walking around the grounds of this resort, however, i realized this is perhaps the room with the most 'basic' view. so if you have the money to spend, do spend a bit more for a non-garden view room, it'll be quite worth it. i think with the added transportation costs to get to the beach and restaurants, i wouldn't come back for just a standard garden view room. overall, it was still a very pleasant and unique experience. the pool has a stunning view. the service was excellent. "The Andaman White Beach Hotel might be the best value for money hotel in Thailand but definately on Phuket! Beautifully laid out with lots of eye for detail, the Andaman White Beach has well appointed rooms overlooking a beautiful stretch of beach that is completely private due to its location between too hills. Comfortable rooms with even more comfortable beds with crisp, white, soft linnen bedding and orchid flowers everywhere. Bathrooms are large and most have an outdoor shower. There are several levels where the rooms are situated, from right on the beach with your own private pool, to higher levels on the hill with stunning views over the ocean. There is a lot of good food to be found at Andaman White Beach. From Pizza's from the lounge area, right on the beach, to authentic Thai food in the main restaurant overlooking theocean, the resort and the romanticly lit, large swimmingpool You can't go wrong here. This is one of the few places on earth I will come back to again and again. The staff is very helpful, from Mr. X, the breakfast chef that makes you deliciously fresh wafles or pancakes in the morning, to the front desk staff that can help you with trips and transportation. Andaman White Beach in Phuket is not to be missed if you go for some R&R in Thailand! "

"i stayed at the cape sienna phuket hotel for one night, and i regret to not stay longer. the hotel is great. the room is great with modern designs and a very reasonable price. but the hotel is very quiet, maybe i stayed there not on the high season. the breakfast is also very good, the restaurant is very nice. i got the chance to sit at the sofa which is very nice and also the view is nice. i didn't get the chance to go to vanilla sky bar, by the looks outside it looks very nice. i will definetely go back to the cape sienna phuket hotel. a very nice hotel."

"We had 8 nights in a two room hillside room- the rooms were well appointed with a huge terrace with jacuzzis ( best to run any external jacuzzi to "clean" out the system - it may not have been used for sometime). The grounds, landscape and the animals make for a stunning setting. Fantail doves, rabbits, chickens, tortoise and goats along with some of the best orchids and other exotic flowers add to the overall impression. There is cable car to these rooms which we found nice and relaxing- it makes you slow down and relax. The location is not that far from Patong and the main shopping and nightlife. We would have given it 5 stars but one of the in-rooms safes never worked and they couldn't fix it- they did offer a move but as we had one safe which was working we stayed put, but it would be a big issue if we only had one room. The view from the terrace and the rooms was fantastic. The food and drinks are high for Thailand- but we had a tremendous dinner on the beach. The free form pool is huge and we had breakfast poolside every morning( Big selection) They run a free shuttle to Patong but the timings make it not convenient for a dinner in town but we had a hire car. This was our second visit to Phuket and we drove up to Phang Nga park and hired a longtail at a pier for a private tour around James Bond island etc. I must give a mention to Sunrise Divers and Jamie Monk ( check his blogs if you want to know anything about Phuket) my daughter did her Advanced Open Water with them and had a great time. We intend to return to Thavorn in the future."

"the best feature of the hotel is the view. one can enjoy the sea view from the balcony. the rates also pretty good. one can enjoy the sea view from the hotel lobby. if you like to have massage then yes you can get it here only. but the only negative thing is that the hotel is far from patong beach, the most happening beach in phuket. hotel has one way bus facility to patong beach."

"The resort was nice and the pool is fantastic. Personally, Phuket is a little tourist trappy but the hotel is a nice change from some of the surrounding resorts. The drinks at the hotel are a bit expensive, but the staff is very kind and helpful. The pool is the best part, and the beach and Bangla Rd (where the parties are) are both 5-7min walk away. The WiFi is a bit spotty, depending on where you are."

"I visit Phuket almost every year for vacation, been to many hotels (3 stars to 5stars) and for the price you pay I will rank sawaddi patong one of the top three. It was not a huge hotel, but big enough to have all the facilities you want, recently renovated, always clean. All the staffs were very very nice and kind. (I stayed for 4 nights at sawaddi patong with my sister) didn't have problem communicating with them, even though some of them didn't speak English well still tried their best to help. I was so touched. The location was perfect for me, not in the middle of crazy parties, yet you can easily walk to them. If you like Thai food, there is local restaurant very near the hotel, and you will find it easily cause always busy with people. Food was great but reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in mains.. Still tasty!!! If I have to pick a down side of this hotel is that breakfast wasn't impressive, but you can order eggs in your way, salad, fruits, toast, cereal, some local dishes. N of course coffee. Me and my sister can't wait to go back to his hotel, staying here made our vacation. I will Definatly choose sawaddi patong for my next vacation. "

"When we drove up to this resort, I was thinking wow this is an amazing property, wish it's where we are staying. Then I saw the sign and we all got excited. It has some serious curb appeal. We drove up, parked our car and saw a lot of construction still going on. Security called for 2 golf carts to come down and pick up our luggage and the 3 of us. We took a steep and dangerous ride, passengers in the back need to hang on for dear life. The reception desk is located outdoors under some of the architecture. A pool wraps around the front of some of the pool access rooms. It's beautiful, but in an Ikea sort of way. Our room, the sea view room, while somewhat stylish looks great with a wonderful view but that's just the surface. If you stay in the room, you will find that there's only about 2 outlets inside and 1 outlet on the balcony. The wifi signal was a bit weak but I speedtested it and it measured in at 5Mb up and down. The finishes in the room are pretty low quality but I've found that with a lot of Phuket hotels. The restroom facilities are bad as they give you pretty much no privacy. I wouldn't recommend it for a family stay. With only 2 outlets, you have to plug in the hair dryer outside of the restroom area. The doors are glass and frosted in some parts but lend very little privacy. The toilet room is separated from the shower but the door only goes part way up letting every little noise you make out into the living space. Water pressure was low on the rainfall showerhead. The bathroom counter hardly had any usable space, you better learn to live tight. Beds are super firm. There wasn't much consideration with regard to safety so you better watch your kids. The ride up to the property was dangerous as is the property itself. Every doorway has a ledge so the moment you step out, you are falling down and you can really hurt yourself if you're not careful. The pool is amazing, views of 2 beaches and it has a bar area. Some rooms will have pool access at thei"
