"Spent a week in the spa suite apartments for the family and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The location was ideal for those seeking to get away from the busy city, while still remain close to amenities. We rented a car at affordable rates from a local car rental company, and used a mobile app called WAZE to get around - driving around was easy since the app had the most accurate and up-to-date information. Having spent 7 days in the resort, we got around easily to the local restaurants for the best seafood - very cheap and fresh. Check out Gayang Restaurant and their cheap and fresh lobsters and crabs. Convenience shops like 7-11 were everywhere and there is a large supermarket called GIANT just 10 mins from the resort (google "Taman Indah Permai"). Our younger son (age 5) caught a cold and there's a very good and experienced paediatrician called Dr Jeffrey Soon about 30 mins drive away (Lot 66, Lrg Zirafah 10A , Taman Layang Layang , Luyang, 88300 Kota KInabalu), where we got him treated. Around the resort, there's a gorgeous golf course sandwiched between the mountain ridge and the beaches. And there's also a water theme park called "Lagoon Park", where we spent a day with water activities. Generally, while the resort may be about 45 mins drive from the city, there are enough facilities and things for my family to enjoy. The hotel staff were extremely prompt in their responsiveness to our requests (extra towels, utensils for cooking, etc). Very warm and friendly. The stringent security checkpoints also made us feel safe and secure throughout our stay. We had a good deal for this booking via Agoda. Paid for the price of a 4 star hotel but it really felt more like a 5 star. Highly recommended for couples looking for a private place as well as for families looking to get some peace and quiet. "

"Our first time here. The resort is clean and spacious and I never expect to see such a nice and clean beach around Kota Kinabalu town area. We never prepared food and there is no restaurant nearby so we drove out to buy dinner and egg and bread for next day breakfast as there is kitchen fully equipped with kitchenware. There are security patroling at night. It is a safe and cosy place to stay. We will plan a trip there again."

"overall is ok, fantastic view of kk town but just the whole unit was not that clean especially floor, hair and dust can be seen easily. Other than that, the view for kk city and mount kinabalu was PERFECT! Will definitely come back again.... "

"This place is sea front, at putatan area, if u self drive, no problem for transport. Surrounding very nice to take picture, beside have a decoration place is used for wedding photo shooting, so u can take nice picture there. Very near airport so u can see plane flying over your head non stop 😂 but after mid night will be less so dont worry of the noise. The homestay is clean and comfortable, but the price is reasonable so u dont expect such a Luxury design or facilties. Have pre save movie TV in family room. Can sleep 5 person. "

"The homestay owner is extremely friendly. Their place is huge, can accommodate at least 18 pax without space issue. The owner help us sort of the travel adapter problem as the power outlet is not Malaysia type, however owner provided enough converter to us. They also took my wedding video using drone (I rent this homestay for wedding) which I never expected . Thank you very much. Strongly recommend to big group travellers."
