"Service oriented staff is a key success of your value hotel. 3 days in this hotel is an unforgettable memory, even the location is far away from yangon city, but well trained staff service standard with communicate well in english, cleanliness, facilities and overall hotel environment are keys to let me decide to come back in my next visit to this city. Newly built 5 stars hotel with less than 4 months in this city, have built up their service standard in overall requirement. I feel so pleased and honour being treated well from day i step into the main doors. Well done. Anyway, thank you guys. Good jobs. "

"The staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean but I had to remind staff to change my sheets and pillows even for an extended stay. The restaurant could use much more variety other than Asian food. As an alternative you can order from Yangon Door To Door. It is nice and quiet, and the bed is super comfortable. I would definitely recommend to others."

"If you go to Yangon with limited budget, go to Mother's Home Motel! Mabye the price you pay for the room is not quite "hostel like", but just at first glance (also keep in mind, that you pay for a double and not a single bed). The staff is very attentive and incredibly nice. The service you will get, will make up for every extra Dollar. Since price/performance ratio in Myanmar, especially with hotels, is not the best, this hotel is the exception. - They will provide you with free taxi service once a day to basically every place in Yangon (The will also pick you up); fyi they drove us to the bus station at 4:30am! - The speak decent english and communicate well. Their internet connection is also decent. - Even that we booked only one night on our first stay, they made breakfast twice for us. The second breakfast was for takeaway at 4:30am! - The offered us to stay in our room far beyond the normal check-out time, because our flight was very late in the evening! - They will catch a cab in front of the hotel for you and bargain the best price. - The rooms are clean and have a good size to move around. The AC also worked fine, which is not necessarily the standard in Myanmar. - The staff will also provide you happily with all the information about the city or the country. I really have only good things to say about them. In my opinion it is the best - moneywise - you can get in Yangon,. Just a tip there in the end; it comes in handy to keep a photo of the location of Mother's Home Motel from google maps in your bag for the taxi drivers, because it seems to be guite new and therefore they don't know it yet. "First of all we choose here because there's free airport shuttle service even if far from the city Centre. But more than word of best, because our flight is late time than free airport shuttles service operate (8:00-18:00) but Mr. Jame was very kind prepared for us at 18:30 from airport. Very impressive first time in Myanmar with Staff of 8days hotel service. Thank you very much. Over view about this hotel location is not bad. On the main road where you can find local taxi all the time. We start trip about 5am to Shwedagon Pagoda by Taxi just 3,000-5,000 Kyats from/to here up to your due. Then we go to KYAIKHTIYO, Bago out site Yangon with left one Baggage at 8days hotel. There is very nice and comfortable here. We're strong recommend 8days Hotel. Comfy bed, Clean room. Thank you very much. "

"At first glance, you may think it is cheap but upon entering the room, you will that it is spacious and well equipped to the extent of a mini bar within the room. Suitable a travellers but not Business travellers. The first 3 nights there, the wifi is actually a mobile hotspot of the Hotel phone which is totally not receivable in the room (my room is located on the 4th floor). The connection was intermittent, the next 4 days when they finally got a proper wifi, it was only receivable at the lobby, still not in the room. I used a fair bit of money on my mobile hotspot trying to surf my mails and Facebook. There was no hot shower as well but thankfully the weather is hot that you really do not require a hot shower, but I cannot say so if it is winter. You can actually order food in the room but the menu is in local language, I managed with some local help. Otherwise the room is superbly clean by Myanmar standard. Clean sheets and pillow case."
