Where to stay in Thingangyun
Thingangyun hotels & accommodations

I wrote previously about this Hotel and the review was rather mixed, many positives and only one issue with regards to reception staff. After further traveling my family had to come back to Yangon for a period of about 12 days. So we gave the hotel a second chance. I am so glad we did. They took our suggestions and have put right our one issue. This may be a three st...

The staff went beyond what was minimum to ensure my stay was pleasant, and helped me with langauge related issues. Breakfast was delicious. The meals in the hotel are cheap and tasty. The room has all the basic ammenities, including room slippers. Definitely more than 3- star experience.

Service oriented staff is a key success of your value hotel. 3 days in this hotel is an unforgettable memory, even the location is far away from yangon city, but well trained staff service standard with communicate well in english, cleanliness, facilities and overall hotel environment are keys to let me decide to come back in my next visit to this city. First of all we choose here because there's free airport shuttle service even if far from the city Centre. But more than word of best, because our flight is late time than free airport shuttles service operate (8:00-18:00) but Mr. Jame was very kind prepared for us at 18:30 from airport. Very impressive first time in Myanmar with Staff of 8days hotel service. Thank yo...

The staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean but I had to remind staff to change my sheets and pillows even for an extended stay. The restaurant could use much more variety other than Asian food. As an alternative you can order from Yangon Door To Door. It is nice and quiet, and the bed is super comfortable. I would definitely recommend to others.

At first glance, you may think it is cheap but upon entering the room, you will that it is spacious and well equipped to the extent of a mini bar within the room. Suitable a travellers but not Business travellers. The first 3 nights there, the wifi is actually a mobile hotspot of the Hotel phone which is totally not receivable in the room (my room is located on the 4th...

A bit far away from the city centre. We requested for twin beds but they gave double bed. A bit difficult to communicate in English. Staff are friendly. Small room, no table for writing. You can find better hotels nearer to the city at similar prices, listed on other booking websites. .
