Great Family Owned Hotel Near Shwedagon”
Winner’s very friendly staff always remembers us and welcomes us back when we stay. Our rooms have always been clean and comfortable since we first stayed here 7 years ago. There are a few more deluxe hotels now in Yangon, but Winner has been classy and cozy for decades. It’s also conveniently located right by Golden Valley with many good restaurants within walking distance. You can see Shwedagon lit up at night from the rooftop too.

Hotel - midway between airport and city centre”
I had a pleasant evening in this hotel. The staff were very nice - as I had to leave at 4:30 am, they prepared a food pack for me for my breakfast. They have also called the taxi who took me to the airport.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Winner Inn. The room was very comfy and of a good size. I appreciated that there were comfy sofas at the corner of a room that is something like a very cosy mini reading corner. The on-site restaurant was beautiful and one could be a whole day there. Highly recommended!

Not a bad option if you want to be in the Golden Valley”
We found this hotel better than others that we tried in the same area. It’s not the cheapest for sure but their breakfast is good. They even have a coffee machine. The only thing that I wasn’t really satisfied about is the attitude of the reception staff on arrival. It wasn’t really warm or welcoming. They obviously need more training with that. Only when I shared my concern about it, they changed their attitude.

Every time I visit Yangon, I stay at Winner Inn. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms and facilities are very clean and comfortable. The restaurant has a delicious selection of foods for every meal and the free breakfast has many healthy items to choose from. The gym is clean and a great place to get a workout. No matter what kind of traveler you are, Winner Inn can accommodate for you. I’ve stayed here with my entire extended family who travelled to Yangon from abroad for a wedding and the hotel staff made our stay fun and enjoyable. Once, on my birthday, they even surprised me by bringing a cake to my room. Another time I stayed there for work and it was so wonderful to come back to rest at Winner Inn each day. They will do all they can to make your stay perfect whether for fun, family, or for business.

Helpful Staff, Unusually Robust Facilities, Short Taxi Rides Required”
The Winner Inn is near Shwedegon and the National Museum area, but you need a taxi to access restaurants and the monuments. Cost is only about US$2-3 each time, however. The Inn has meeting rooms and a business center, something we hadn't seen at these prices in Myanmar yet. The room was quite clean, an extra bed added just as requested. Staff was helpful with restaurant recommendations and securing a taxi. The buffet Western- and local-style breakfast was huge; lunch was yummy and clean. Last chance to eat Myanmar-style food. Highly recommended if you're okay with short taxi rides.

Wonderful, friendly staff”
Staff is very helpful and friendly. From housekeeping, to reception to restaurant, the staff makes you feel welcome and at home. Winner Inn has upgraded its facilities beautifully. Comfortable rooms and beds. Rain shower. Good breakfast buffet. Good internet. About 20 min walk to Shwedagon Pagoda. Close to good restaurants, including Sharkeys. Convenient to get to meetings.

Small , friendly hotel”
I have stayed at Winner Inn multiple times, mainly because it is conveniently located for my work. It is a small hotel with very friendly staff, clean comfortable facilities. It is not 5 star but has everything I need including a restaurant with good food and interesting local breakfast. If you are looking for luxury it is not the place for you but will continue to be my choice for work visits to Yangon.

Amazing family business”
This is a no-frills inn yet we felt really taken care of, like family. No swimming pool, but there's a small, adequate gym and a library which was well stocked. Service is on par with what we experienced at business hotels and bigger chains, at a fraction of the price. We especially loved that the family's history and personal items, such as an old turntable and harp, were displayed with short descriptions. Added to the charm.

The name fits. They are truly a winner. There location is excellent. The staff were the most accommodating and gracious people I have ever encountered. The breakfast buffet was terrific. This hotel was a pleasure to stay at and made our trip that much more enjoyable. Great value and impeccable service.

Mixed feelings”
The hotel is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, but the closest convenience store and the city are quite far away, so you may need to take a taxi or Grab from the place (it is fairly cheap). Our room was clean, but extremely small and sort of poor value for the money we spent on this stay. One night at Winner Inn was almost as expensive as a similar style hotel in Australia. It was quite the disappointment when we saw the other rooms on our floor and realised that most bigger and better rooms are unoccupied (their doors were open), yet we were given the smallest one, where it was difficult to move around or even unpack 2 medium sized luggage.

1st time in Yangon, stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel was lovely, bed and room were very nice and clean. Staff helped us book several trips and went out of their way to be of assistance. Easy place to get to all the sites/activities. Would definitely stay here again. Great value for money. Keep up the good work.

Nice atmosphere”
I enjoy staying at this hotel. Shower is strong. Staffs are friendly. It's new and look nicer than photos presented. Not sure if the location is good as I rent a taxi for 3 days trip. Not far from the golden pagoda. Room service is available at affordable price. Breakfast was simple.
